Snow that behaves like snow

It heaps up in front of the blade, slumps down at the sides and piles against the walls. Every lane you cut stays where you cut it.

Toss it where you like

Tap a spot and the heap flies there while you push: over the fence, past the bench, onto the lawn. Just not on the roses.

A street of neighbours

A garden path, a bakery terrace, an ice rink, a station platform, the Christmas market, a castle drive. Every plot has its own shape.

What the snow hides

Lost gloves, old keys, forgotten toys. Fill your album with what turns up, and let your dog dig where something is buried.

A snowman at home

Roll the balls yourself, stack them straight, dress him with what you found. He stays in your garden for the street to see.

Lights in the dark

Every neighbour you help lights up their house, and yours can have string lights, lanterns and reindeer. Evening by evening the street starts to glow.

    Walk down the street and see who needs a hand. Fresh snow means fresh work, and a big storm means a lot of it.

    Push, throw and keep the beds clean. If you cannot leave a corner, stay and clear the whole plot.

    A fast replay shows how all that snow went, the neighbour pays, and you are off to buy a better blade.
